Privacy Policy
This notice explains how AntEngage Technology Private Limited (“AntEngage”, “we”) collects and uses personal data, and what you can require of us. It is written to meet our obligations as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
It covers this website and our newsletter. Where we deploy our systems inside a customer's infrastructure, that customer is the Data Fiduciary for the data those systems process and their own notice governs — see When we act as a processor below.
1. What we collect
- Details you give us. Name, work email, phone number, company, country and the content of your enquiry, when you submit a contact, demo or credit-request form.
- Newsletter email address. Only if you subscribe.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, recorded in server logs so we can keep the site available and secure.
- Demo conversations. If you use an in-browser voice demo, the audio and transcript of that session, so the demo can function and so we can diagnose faults.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website, and we do not use it for tracking or behavioural advertising.
2. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer you. Responding to an enquiry or arranging a demo, on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form.
- To send the newsletter. On the basis of your consent, withdrawable at any time from any email we send.
- To run and secure the site. Keeping the service available, preventing abuse, and investigating incidents.
- To meet legal obligations. Where retention or disclosure is required of us by law.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use website enquiry data or demo recordings to train our models.
3. How long we keep it
- Enquiry and demo-request records: 24 months from last contact.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: 12 months.
- Demo audio and transcripts: 30 days, unless we need a specific session longer to investigate a fault.
When a purpose is exhausted and no legal obligation requires us to keep the data, we erase it.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with processors who help us operate — email delivery, hosting, and analytics — under contracts that bind them to our instructions and to equivalent security obligations. We also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not disclose it to anyone else.
5. Where it is processed
Our infrastructure is hosted in India. Some processors may handle data outside India; where they do, we transfer only in accordance with Section 16 of the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified under it.
6. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- Access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we have processed it.
- Correct, complete, update or erase — your personal data, subject to any retention the law requires of us.
- Withdraw consent — as easily as you gave it. This does not affect processing already carried out.
- Nominate — another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Complain — to our Grievance Officer, and afterwards to the Data Protection Board of India.
Write to the Grievance Officer below. We will acknowledge within 72 hours and respond substantively within 30 days.
7. When we act as a processor
When AntEngage software runs inside a customer's environment — Fonix.AI on their infrastructure, or an AE Guardian device in their hospital — that customer decides what is processed and why. They are the Data Fiduciary; we act on their instructions. If you are a patient, borrower or customer of theirs, direct your request to them. We will support them in answering it.
8. Security
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and network segregation, and we restrict access to personal data to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to make the site work and to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser can block cookies; the site will still function.
10. Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page before they take effect.
